Why White Chocolate is More Tempting than a Cinnabon

I'm not one to discriminate against chocolate. Chocolate is a cure for many things, especially if you have a sweet tooth. I wanted something sweet, something salty and something a little bit sour. I remembered a recipe I saw on Pinterest that used white chocolate, pistachios and strawberries. PERFECT!

Valentine's Day Treat

I was looking for something different and simple to make for Valentine's Day. I found a recipe on Pinterest from Bakerella and adapted it to use with Velata chocolate. They were a hit at work and I will definitely be making these again!

What to do with 18 pounds of Cherries?

A few weeks ago I purchased 18 pounds of cherries for just $24 thanks to Bountiful Baskets. If you haven't heard of Bountiful Baskets you must check them out! Once I picked up our cherries, I was then faced with what to do with them all before they went bad. I was able to split half of them with family, but that still left 9 pounds of cherries. How in the world would I be able to use them all before they went bad. Thanks to Pinterest I was able to get a few ideas.

Thanks to a recipe from Whole New Mom found on Pinterest we enjoyed tacos with homemade taco seasoning. It was easy to make and tasted great. No more store bought taco seasoning for us! Get the recipe HERE.

Since starting to participate with Bountiful Baskets earlier this year, we have been eating fresh fruit & veggies more than we have in years! It's a great deal and I would highly recommend you checking them out if you haven't already.

This is everything that we scored in our baskets this week (not pictured, 7 dozen tortilla shells).

Saint Patrick's Day - a day when you can wear green and eat green and no one will question it. I remember our family making green pancakes, drinking green milk and even participating in the annual St. Patricks Day parade in Bremerton. If you're looking to create a new tradition with your family or just looking for some fun Saint Patrick's Day inspired food and gifts, you won't be disappointed with what I found with the help of Pinterest.

These are a couple of my favorite tasty treats. They could be a snack, a dessert or even breakfast if you really wanted it to be! Believe it or not, I didn't get either of these ideas from Pinterest. I know a shocker!

One of the hardest things for me at times if trying to figure out what to make for dinner. Like everyone else I have those few good recipes, but I like a little variety every once in a while! If you haven't noticed, I'm a little obsessed with Pinterest. So it should not come as a surprise to you where I came across these three meal ideas.
